ok so basically i'm gonna tell you that thing is a huge waste of money..... your paying 170$$$ just for the bulb and then dropping another 350-360$$ on the stupid ballast..... you're only getting 100,000 lumens for 1000 watts thats not shittttt my 200watt MH puts off 30,000 lumens and a 600w hps puts off 60-70k lumens your best bet would either buy one or the other if you buy a MH dump the money your saving effefiently like 2700k cfls (same spec as a hps) or if you get a hps grab 6500k cfls its so much more light,cost effecient
