Oxycodone is a completely synthetic substance being synthesized from "thebaine" an alkaloid from the poppy plant. Hydrocodone is semi synthetic because it is made from thebaine and codeine. Thebaine, codeine, and morphine are all alkaloids that come from the opium poppy and are used to make these substances along with others including heroin. Oxycotton is synthetic heroin and since it was designed in labs it is actually worse for you then street heroin because it is designed to be more efficient in doing its job with chemicals and dopamine receptors in the braine.
