Talk him in to getting a new strain with high CBN (I think it is) the full-body high type for him when he is manic, and a upbeat-type strain for when he is depressed. I have Bi-polar but it's usually controlled with meds, when i'm out of meds, my dealer keeps two strains for me. I don't have a medical card, nor is medical even availible here, but they seem to work for me.
