I disagree, you dont hit a slump in the playoffs. Its a best of 7 series, its not like march madness where cinderella has a chance. I would say the better team wins in the NBA playoffs 90% of the time. If you cant get excited to play in the NBA playoffs then you dont deserve to be playing. There are people who would kill to have an opportunity like that.
Now I will say that lack of playoff experience can hurt a team since a playoff game is played much differently than a regular season game. especially in the west.
I can confidently say that I think a team from the East will win the NBA title this year. Unless the Spurs win it all. (I wont count the Lakers out either) but no other team in the west has a chance at winning it all. atleast in my eyes.
