my love affair with mary jane

I love her so much
she is truely THE love of my life
nothing and no one else compares to how she makes me feel

on our first intimate encounter, we produced thousands of seeds to spread throughout the land. it was my intention to encourage as many others as I could to cultivate her and love her as I did.

heh yeah, ok now to just talk like how I normally do....
Hello Grasscity!

man, it's been a long time since I've gotten the chance to grow. Only done it twice (I don't count the first grow because....) the first time was to produce a TON of seeds on purpose, I have no idea how many thousand it was. It was bagseeds from some weed a friend of mine had smoked that I used to start the grow. No idea what strain, but it smelled sweet, like a bit of tropical fruit and citrus mix. Extremely resiliant to high temperatures and it could certainly take a beating.

My second grow (first REAL grow) I only raised one plant under a 400W HPS in a DWC. Flora Nova grow and bloom nutrients with Superthrive and epsom salt. It was HOT, the ventilation was POOR, the ph was CRAZY, and my sweet baby was being underfed and had a magnesium deficiency that never seemed to heal. I even forgot to change the res a few times and nearly killed her, but she bounced right back each time and kept going. Vegged her to 2 feet then kicked it back to 12/12 once the canopy was even with 15 tops under the light from topping and trimming. Let her bloom for roughly 8 weeks. Despite all the abuse she had taken she still gave me 0.3 grams per watt, a wee bit over a quarter pound. I can only imagine how much I would have yielded if I had all my environmental controls dealt with, etc. I put so very little effort into what I DID do, and still got some good bud!

The only pictures I saved were a few shots of the dried buds.....
pic1 is the biggest nug weighing in at almost 5 grams
pic2 and pic3 are a full ounce. 28.3 grams of love on a cheap paper plate. mmmmmm!

Only time will tell when I can be lucky enough to get into a living situation in which I can continue where I left off!
