Hey man, glad to see you care enough to change.
Just eat healthy man. In bootcamp ( PT once a day, stretches, jumping jacks, situps, diamond pushups, running, cross knee crunches, mountain climbers, etc... )
It lasted about an hour. 30 minutes of various excercises, and 30 minutes self paced run.
Eating chicken, fish, and rice, and eggs for breakfast ( and oatmeal) plus that workout, I lost something like 30 pounds in 6 weeks man.
Eating healthy and continuing this really helps. I went into bootcamp weighing 210-215 and a 2 pack a day smoker. I couldn't run or do shit too well.
That was back in the middle of october.
Now I weigh 165-170. Muscle. Got a nice 6 pack working, and I love life. I'm running 1.5 miles in about 10:20, and I go for a jog everyday. I wake up and do pushups ( regular and diamond) and leg lifts for about 20 minutes each morning, alternating between the two. I feel great, and will spend 15 minutes or so each morning just looking in the mirror.

Running is really the key. Once you start, your metabolism will quicken up, and it's a good beginning. I'm really into it now, and it's a real confidence builder.
