a sitter is a very bad idea, especially if its your first time. a sitter is something ive heard people talk about for the use of salvia and the like... i dont know what for with cid. your best bet would be to drop with a friend. but by yourself is endlessly enlightening experience, just be at peace with yourself, and dont let your detailed thoughts control your trip.
if i was given 5 hits, i'd do the same as you... buy yourself a new piece.
