I used to take lexapro and smoke all the time. I stopped taking lexapro and thankfully. Those types of drugs i just really really dont trust. Its pretty blatantly obvious to me the FDA is only out for money and not our safety. Its not approved for people under 18 (i had it when i was well under 18 years of age) and some people were being perscribed lexapro for TMJ of all things.
Anyway, i had no problems smoking while on lexapro except sometimes id get major panic attacks but i think thats just because i had a low tollerance and didnt know how to handle myself. (doesnt happen now so it could have def. been the lexapro affecting my high)
long story short my advice is to never even think about getting on these drugs (lexapro is def. a no no in my book no matter what). Its a last resort situation for me. Now that ive been off it for a good 2-3 weeks (still some withdrawal side effects unfortunatley) my emotions are all over the place but i dont even know if thats normal and its hard for me to handle them sometimes. But when i was on lexapro my emotions were at a constant (sort of like platuau of blahness) the entire time and i really didnt experience things which was unfortunate. The mixing of the two are probably not good, but im thinking the bad apple of the two is NOT marijuana..its lexapro or in your case zoloft. Asking any doctor other than an MMJ doc probably wont yeild you the best answer as marijuana is illegal ... ;( they will probably say "well its illegal why are you smoking it anyway. You know smoke is bad for your lungs right? disease disease disease" but they fail to mention the horrible side effects of anti-depressants.....anyway thats my rant...what?
