I will be growing in a 11x11ft bedroom, with 1 1000w light at first, and then eventually 2. The bedroom is above a basement so it could be ventilated into there if necessary, but I'd like to avoid cutting holes in the floor/walls/ceiling if at all possible. I was just looking at the room and there's a light fixture in the ceiling, dead center. It has about a 4" round mounting thing, that looks like if I took it off, it'd leave a 4" hole square in the middle of the ceiling. Above the room is the attic where I could vent the room into, possibly after putting the air through a carbon/charcoal filter?

What would I need to properly ventilate this room to be able to have the 1 and then 2 1000w lights without having bad heat problems?

I'm kindof on a budget so the cheapest method is the best for me.

Thanks

Hiya!

All in all, if you want to really want great results, you will have to punch a couple of holes my friend. Not to worry, they are easy to fix.

I would use a 8" blower tied to a 8" carbon filter for your exhaust. This will allow you to expand when u are ready. For intake, a 6" passive intake will be fine also.

I have a simalar set-up in a 10' x 10' bedroom. I actually just posted a joutnal you are welcome to check out for ideas.

If you need more specific advice on venting a room, just let me know.
