there is a little icon on the top right of each of my posts (next to the post number and the word (permalink) ) looks like a balance scale, thats how you add to rep.
I am happy to hear I could convince you to not spend that large amount of money, and spend that money on upgrades to the same thing, built by you, for you, to your specs.
