Is that so, all the CMH I have checked out put out 3000 K/3600 K, No where near the 6400K needed for VEG? What bulb you using ?
I guess they will work fine but IMHO one of each for veg and bloom is better if you have the grow room that can support the high wattage lamps. All the modern ballasts can take MH and HPS so the bulb costs are nominal. Not sure about the UV output of CMH tho so you may have a point there?
