T5 setup - closet w/ 3 tiers - scrog
Ok so I'm working on this idea I have for my closet flower room.
My main concern here is heat. I'm looking to use those 4' 4 bulb T5 fixtures that put out 5,000 lumens per bulb with mixed spectrum. For a total of 20,000 lumens.
I have this sturdy steel rack that has 2 shelves each being 2' 10" apart. The shelves are 18" x 48".
I would like to mount 3 of these T5 fixtures, 2 on the bottom of each shelf and one from the ceiling.
Then using scrog I'd like to grow 2 plants on the floor and each shelf. Starting from the middle and training one plant to the right and one plant to the left out to the sides. A total of 6 plants.
So here is my question. Would the T5s produce some quality dank using this method/would it be worth the investment? Like I said heat is number one for me. The room will be A/Ced but aside from circulating fans to blow on the plants I'd like to avoid having to cool a HID as well. I'm renting and I don't have power tools to build framing and shit so I can't do perminate modifications to my closet. Should I just go with a nice quality grow tent instead?
I would appreciate any input. Thanks a lot.
