The ingreedients are pretty simple, just barley/oats/wheat and water, with all the sugars/carbs extracted then boiled down to a super concentrate, so why not? Does anyone have any words of wisdom on this one? If so, what kind and how much per gallon?

THANKS!!!!!
Great idea, but it can't be cheaper than good old molassas. I've brewed before and I seem to remember the stuff being a tad expensive to be pouring into a hole in the ground (literally!)

Williams cheapest malt extract is $16 for 6 lbs. + shipping. I'd just go with molassas myself...
