All Hydro will do for you as far as time, is speed up the growth rate in vegitive state. Meaning, it will grow alot faster to the height you want to start flowering. And, when you go to 12/12, you will still get a solid 2 weeks of rapid growth until it starts to flower.
Aye, mine more than doubled in the first week of flowering and are still getting taller at the end of the second. Most of my plants showed sex starting yesterday and today, today is the 14th day of flowering for me.
They were 5" tall when I started flowering on the 1st of this month. They are 21" tall now.
