I believe it has to do with stress, the sun gradually changes hours of light per day and in the morning the sun rises slowly. In a grow room it is more sudden and causes more stress on the plant forcing it to flower. Now this is my understanding, I may be wrong, but that is why I believe it is hard to get indoor strains to bud outdoors.

And I think the reason for strains being outdoor is their size, and maybe has something do do with UV rays or something that the strain can't recieve indoor, just my 2 cents, someone correct me where Im wrong, I would like to get the right data.
