Preflowers?

I'm a new grower, and Im not sure about the process of determining sex. I mean I understand about putting into flower and flipping back to veg and whatnot, but I am trying to just get natural preflowers. My camera is dead so I made up a sweet little mspaint to try to describe what I am seeing:

The purple stuff are the caylax, and in between the branch set and the fan leaves, there is new growth (the orange stuff) There are no balls or pistils yet, but from the naked eye, it looks like it has 2 prongs (These are not pistils as far as I can tell, just the shape of the preflower).

If they were male, would it be a distinct club? and how long before I began to see banana sacs? or does this descibe a female preflower, and if so, how long til I should be expecting pistils?

They sprouted on March 2nd, so they've been vegging 24/0 for 6 weeks.

Any help would be appreciated. If my plants are both males I am just going to rip them out and re-germ some more seeds. And if this is the case, I'd rather start sooner than later.

Thanks,

DrSnugs
