I keep my bong pristine because I have a friend who NEVER cleans her bongs, the water in some of her bongs is more than a year old and I can't enjoy smoking because it just tastes like ass. But my bowls I just let go. I'll scrape them every so often. I'll scrape and then clean them if i get a good pickup that I don't want to be contaminated by old resin taste.
