Silvery dark brown spots on seedling

I know this is a long shot but my plants are about 12 days old, and 1 of them is developing these dark brown spots on the first set of fan leaves and they reflect light in a silvery sort of way. I'm using CFL's about 1 and a half inches away from the plants and theres no signs of stretching.

This particular plant also seems like a lighter shade of green, not yellow, but lighter than my other plant but that could be genetics.

I can't give you any more info because I don't have a pH meter. I'm using soil from outside right now.

I saw a weird fly in my room the other day (not grow room) but I chalked that up to an open door or window. I wish I could take a picture. Also I've been watering every time the soil becomes dry, I dig down with my finger and I water until it comes out of the drainage holes in the bottom of my container. I've been watering basically between every 2 and 3 days because thats when they seem to need it.

On another note there are little green plants that keep sprouting up in my soil, I looks to be grass and I just pluck them out when they surface, is there any problems with having them in the soil?
