so theres no need to try and find a way to get gibberillic acid, all i have to do is make the plants hermie on me?? if thats the case why do people freak out so much if they get one male flower on a female plant? why not just take the few female seeds you might get from it. im guessing it wouldnt make the pot that much less potent.
was also wondering, i had just pollenated a few different strains with a male autoflowering strain i got in a mixed pack to try out some lowlife seeds, and its almost harvest time now, should i dry them out before germinating them, and would i need to do some back crossing or would i be ok to use them for an outdoor harvest this year? i have read that crossing strains can make the first batch of seeds finicky plants.
i am growing afgani, nl, hashberry and some of the autos in between. they are in a grow closet that i built but i am not yeilding close to as much as some of the peoples closet set ups i see on here. would i be better off trying a bubble bucket with less, but bigger plants? i am a huge fan of the soil, its super reliable and the last few batches came out sooo good, but all of us could do with a bigger yield. i gave a few seeds to a friend and he used shultz nutes and mollassas, his came out way more dense, but mine were way more of a light lime green with tons of sticky trichs, and his was way more of a dark green with a different smell to it. we planted at the same time and harvested with in a week of each other and he had twice the weight i did but his shit didnt taste, smell or feel as good as mine did, any way to add some density to my next batch without sacrificing taste or smell? right now i am using neptunes harvest fish emulsion organic nutes in organic mg soil..all i could find at the time...i had pretty good results, but weight was lacking. help....
