to baked: in one of my first post on this thread i said "and even if life could be supported w/o water"
to rotawee: no pluto is not a planet, it isnt because:
to be a planet you must travel around a center sun(s), pluto cuts into Neptunes and maybe even Saturns orbit so it is an uneven ellipse
it also doesnt have a moon. a moon orbits around a central planet where as plutos moon and itself rotate around each other (almost like a figure 8)
and no i didnt goggle it i was taught it in school (both mars and the pluto thing)
to jim: that makes sense, but i want to point out i never said there isnt life, i simply said it is as well possible that there isnt.
yes i know life started in the ocean (thanks discovery channel) but idk about how the water got here (i know it is probable that a mars size planet in between earth and mars hit earth early one getting read of alot of the water, allowing for land life, and possible made our enormous moon with some spiraling of material of earth). and lastly i thought titan (the one w/ frozen water) was a jupitar moon but i could be mistaken
