Is it like a 40 watt bulb or a supernova?
How about when the unit is in standby mode?
It's hard to tell from the various online videos (kudos to Azarius.net on their awesome demo vids - very fun and informative. Someone must be a filmmaker there).
Thanks in advance! |
I don't think the light is annoying at all. It's just enough to light up a 3 foot diameter if all the lights are off so it's cool if you keep it by your bedside table at night. My only real gripe is that the hose is a bit short.
Also, I let my friend borrow the Aromed for 3 weeks and he used it probably 5 times a day and left it on for a few hours a day and it still works fine. I think it will withstand the test of time. In "standby mode"...it should be ok to leave it like that for as long as you want because the only thing that is on is the display screen. Nothing is being heated unless you actually press the red button, but I still unplug the unit from the power cable every time I'm done using it just to be safe in case of an electrical surge.
I would probably recommend that vapes on this site over the Aromed just because of the price. The retro looking vape on grasscity is 200 I believe and it has a digital temp display and it fills up a bag...you really cant go wrong with that. I haven't used one so I can't say anything about the reliability, though. But I'd give it a $200 try.
