i guess each meter translates these numbers differently
for example: the 1000 ppm solution have is supposed to read on my meter as: 1450 PPM/ 2000uS/ 2.00 ec. Also temperature will effect the readings. the solution numbers are meant to be tested at 77f and the PPM could be effected by as much as 100 points either way depending on the temps of the solution.
Yeah, I can't find the damn PPM setting. For the calibration, all I do is set it to calibrate then put it in the type of testing solution I set it for, and it calibrates itself. It just doesn't give me any type of 1000PPM setting for calibrating the EC or PPT, so I guess I'll have to get the types of solution that it calls for. What's another 20 bucks for this grow, right? lol

I can set the multiplier for the EC or whatever (crap gets confusing after a bit) and I just left it at .500. As far as teh temperature, my meter (and I think your meter as well) has something called ATC that enables them to account for differences in temperature...supposedly...

Any idea on the purple veiny roots? They're freakin me out lol.
