yes it does work in speeding up the transitioning process, i have tried doing it, and not, and it seems that it almost resets the biological clock of the plant so it is not confused when to flower. however as far as cutting off a week of flowering time im not so sure about that. i dont know that i would want to do that considering 25 percent of the resin and weight are produced in the last 2 weeks of flowering. just a thought
