yeah, and its amazing to see exactly how long these technologies take to develop. 20 years to get our touch screen ipods. Who knows whats in the development process now...

I recommend looking at Karen Armstrong's talk too. It doesn't fit under science though. I've read her work and her goals I feel are worthy of pursuit, but I'm not too thrilled with the bureaucratic entity she has chosen to over see this...
