The relationship between humans and dogs is a win-win situation. We keep them fed and warm, they give us unconditional affection and maybe some work (Hunting, shepherding, tracking) in return.

i agree, it is amazing how all the different types of dogs, from chihuahua to great dane, all descended from a common ancestor. Humans and artificial selection changed the species drastically in only a few million years, which is almost nothing in geologic time. Small yappy rat dogs like chihuahuas etc are an atrocity. They aren't good healthy dogs because of the lack of genetic variation. Actually most people spend $ for pure breed dogs, when mixes are actually more healthy because of the genetic variation...
