For me, the peat pellets didnt work well. I LOVE rapid rooters tho and am actually going to get some more today.
The MG Perlite has worked fine for me. If you read the bag I think it has VERY VERY low concentrations in it. Someone quoted it here on GC once and it was miniscule. I have since stopped using the MG perlite just because I found something cheaper but plenty of ppl use it and personally it has been fine for me. I HAVE noticed how it changes color too and am not totally sure why it does this. Guess I cant say with 100% certainty that it hasnt contributed to any of the problems I HAVE had in my grows.
What kind of weed was in the bag you took the bag seed from?? Ive been interested in collecting some Mexican brick weed in search for sativa lines. GL man!!!! |

Ok the weed i get around here is crap, and you want the good shit? pay a arm and a leg.
If i want more seeds, i go buy a 25$ bag, ( 1/4 Oz ) and i get anywhere from 5-20 seeds, lol -
I would and most do, consider this mexican weed - Although its not bad smoke, i know i can grow better =)
i REALLY hope this isnt Sativa line im growing, although it doesnt matter, i will be ordering seeds as soon as i start flowering.

Oh! About soil - I think i should just find Organic soil, nothing in it, and mix my own? Because Shipping for soil is way to much for my liking and im not willing to spend that kind of money on it - If i could save up say 100-200 bucks for soil, i wouldnt mind doing a 2-3 hour drive to get some Fox farm...
But as for mixing my own, that is good enough right? Perlite, Peat moss, Worm casting?
Im really considering going Hydro in my flower room, a Ebb & Flow, i have not read much into building my own, but im sure as hell not buying one.
