Well, I haven't given them any nutes yet as I'm trying to get 2 more sprouted in the other two pots to fill it out and give me more chances for females. I figured it'd be better to deprive the ones that are in there than to hurt the fragile young'un's I'll be trying to get started. Is that not a good idea?
So, no nutes yet and no Superthrive since that one time.
The PPM is high but that's mostly because of the obnoxiously hard water I have. This weekend I'm going to dump the res and use distilled water and nothing else for the rest of the grow.
The PPM is about 175.
The PH is about 5.9.
I'd try to get the PH down a bit more but since I wasn't using nutes yet I didn't think it would matter. Should I go ahead and try to get it to sit at...what's the ideal PH for hydro? 5.6?
I don't want to get ahead of myself but I think the Aurora B I transplanted yesterday is already stirring.
The bad news: It looks like the orange gunk that I attributed to using General Hydroponics PH Down is back on a couple of my hoses. If anyone can tell me what the hell is going on I'd appreciate it. I thought GH PH Down was recommended, and I can't think of anything else that would be leaving orange gunk in my res...
