My plants look 98% perfect but im having a hard time deciding when to feed,how much to feed of each 3 part GH and when to use only water.
Im going to read the Lucas formula tonight to see if it can help me but any advice would be really welcome.
I water about every 3-4 days and used nutes at about week 3-4 two waterings in a row and had really dark green leaves and some leaf tips burned with the runoff over 2000PPM (but remember my poor quality tap water starts at 500PPM) and my PPM meter only goes to 2000.
So ive always done runoff tests on all plants each watering and water till runoff quantity is about 30% of total water used,ie:5 gal pot watered with 6 quarts and 2 as runoff.This i feel has helped keep the salt buildup down in my estimation.
At 9 weeks of Veg. my 3 mothers are now 22" tall and wide,internode spaces and branches are all 1-2" and each of the 3 strains are all within 5% of the same size
All waterings get 2cc per qt. of Sensizyme,2 drops per qt. of Superthrive and are always PHed at 6.5-6.8 with runoffs consistantly at 6.7-7.0,and nutes have been equal parts of all three GH 3 part nutes up till the 6th week from 600-1200PPM and from the 6th week till now have changed the floragro to 3 parts,floramicro to 2 parts and the florabloom to 1 part to make about 1500PPM plus the 500PPM of whatever is in my tap water.(all tap water is kept in a circulating/air bubbling bucket for a min if 48hrs. prior to mixing then PHing and using right away).
