From what I understand you go into his room to get away from the party and make an exchange, yet it seems like theres mad people in there too. I don't know why he wouldn't take you somewhere where its just you and him. Also since his roomies seemed like they were the ones who were obviously trying to start shit, I don't know why he didn't either stick up for you and tell them to shut the fuck up or move to a different location to make the exchange.
