well rumple, first I tried germinating in napkins, transfered to rock well cubes, one out of four is barely surviving. next I tried 3 directly into rock well cubes, after 3 days into nets with the orange pebbles, 2 that survived are sprouting roots out of the bottom of the net pots today, total time from start to roots is 7 days, I'm very encouraged.
Germinated in ph balance of 6.3, plain tap water, presoaked the cubes for 1 hour. I'm probably going to pay for this but my EC that I thought was 860 turned out to be 1050. theres 3 and 4 sets of new leaves on each of the rock well germinated plants.
In spite of the cost of the 2 meters PH & EC, total cost in Toronto ON $195 a novice cant do without them.
Tommorrow I'll start to make my bubblers as per your layout. I'm going to use three with one as a controller, with continuous circulation, all three the same level, one pump feeding one that one overflowing into the next.
