I got about 10 pages into this thread and gave up. Will read the rest later, so much helpful info. What I wanted to know is can I use my Organic nutes I already have (Dr. Hornby's Iguana Juice Grow+Bloom by Advanced Nutrients) in this system? I don't see why not as there are no drip lines or anything to get clogged but I figured someone on here had some experience with this and might be able to drop some knowledge on my newb ass. I'm just entering week 3 of flowering with my first grow (FF Ocean Forest Soil) and everything seems to be going well so I thought for my next go round I'd do 2 buckets and 2 or so in soil and if all goes well with the buckets I might be switching to those.

Also I made a small change in the plans but for most part everything is the same. I was able to pick up black buckets at my hydro store as well as black lids with net pots already built in. I figured fuck it one less step. The change I made is I got a 5" round air stone by Topfin. I used black aquarium silicone sealant to stick them in the center of the bucket. You think these should suffice? I also sealed the airline to the bucket on the inside. My reasoning for this is less malarkey for the roots to get tangled around. I could just envision myself pulling up the lid and tearing some roots that got tangled on an airline or something.

Any suggestions or criticism is greatly appreciated. I know that there are great chemical nutes out there but love the idea of all organic. + I know this hippy chick who is psyched to try my first all organic harvest
