Thanks for the support guys!

I got an email back from a professor @ Univ. of Florida with suggestions:

"...if it were my grow; I would use around 300 total watt mixed spectrum compact fluoro for veg, and LED only for bloom. While complete LED is a wonderful thing; the Blue spectrum is a very tough range to tackle. Even if you buy the proper nm, it's also a matter of the power going in to the unit, clarity, and how well it powers the light. Red, however, is MUCH easier to deal with. What you see is truly what you get with that. The boards you had me look at are very nice, and I'm surprised that they are not more expensive, even for a "do-it-yourself" kit. For my money, I would do between 4 & 6 all Red boards to accomplish your grow. If you're looking for a more satisfying yield; go for at least 5. Don't go overboard and use more than 6 though. For 2 plants, that is more than sufficient. ****** I hope this helps you in your quest of LED assisted growing. Please keep me up to date."

I plan to order the LED's this week, and now I have to go to a hardware store and pick up some CFLs. The professor said his most potent yield came from this type of setup.

The beauties should be sprouting in the next couple days...woooo!
