I'd have to agree with ak. There may be potent and proper grown buds there, but they aren't being sold in the coffee shops to the tourists for the most part. In my experience anyway. It has nothing to do with my block is better then yours thing, but it's the fact that commercial bud, is commercial bud wherever it's grown on earth. Some people actually think or believe it's legal to grow and breed in a-dam, and because of that they think more time and passion goes into bringing plants to harvest, and that's simply not the case. They need to supply a huge commercial product in very much the same atmosphere we do here, only they need to grow and supply a lot more, and thus less care is taken in producing a quality product.
If you regularly buy commercial buds found in the states, you may be blown away by the the marijuana grown in a-dam, and more so by the shear variety of strains that can be easily obtained (if u never smoked widow or kush the opportunity itself can skew the experience) But if you grow, or smoke buds produced by the discerning grower you may not be as taken back by the sheer number of names on the menu, but you focus more so on the quality. A hundred jars of commercial grown buds lining the wall is not going to impress me as much as that 1 jar of properly grown buds I couldn't have obtained anywhere else in the world. Commercial is commercial no matter the name of the strain is ur smoking.
The risks are great in the states, and because of that a lot more detail gets put into the growing process. If your county only allows u 6 plants to be grown for medical your going to see to it those 6 turn out as good as they possibly can. Commercial is not grown like that. the higher numbers-sheer weight of the product is what their looking for over there.
Saying all that i'd have to say the hash in a-dam is some of the best in word IMO. I go for the hash. With that it doesn't matter to much how it was dried and cured as it's just the concentrated glands and not the leaf material.
