this brought me back to my trip there in August '06. Never been to the cup but def want to go to #21 jsut because the dam is so sick. i satyed in leidseplein and was around town sampling the goods before my luggage was even up in my room.
i sort of agree with you when you say that the quality of the weeds was generally better in America. Dont get me wrong, I smoked some amazing strains for 7 days straight, but I've had the same or better here in NY. Unless you live in Cali and have a med card, nothing comes close to going to A'dam and being able to order weeds and hashes off of a menu at €10/gram, and having the ability to choose from so many different kinds of dank at once. Just the availability was what wowed me. Maybe quality takes a hit due to the need to produce more for all the tourists and crowds at the cup? I dunno but I can't wait to go back. Peace.
