These stupid growers putting greed over quality make me so fucking angry. I just picked up a quarter yesterday, and the buds look really good...but it's obvious they are freshly cut no more than a week ago, with no proper dry or cure....so now I'VE got to sit on this weed and do the work the grower didn't have the intelligence to do.

I share your anger bro, the thing that gets me is the mentality of the profiteers. They become so absorbed with turning a buck that it actually erodes their sense of pride and or love. Many people start out with good intentions but once they're exposed to the tremendous earning power of weed their ideals eventually fall away. When I bought weed I used to get a lot of buds like the ones you've written about, sucks yo. Fucking growers thinking about how much extra cash they can make off of wet buds, pathetic.

OP, never been to the Netherlands but let me express my surprise as well that the overall quality over there is lacking for reasons already listed. That just blows my mind. And I can also see how the HT Cannabis Cup has been morphed into a racket. Cause if HT gets ad revenue from various breeders, and those strains get "awarded" by the cup then sales of those strains increase dramatically as well as HT ad revenue. IDK just a thought. This is very true, and it helps to contribute to the low quality weed in the Coffeeshops. Dutch growers, concerned about the rather severe penalties for doing what they do rush to put a product out there for a quick sale, instead of sitting on a crop till maturity which would lengthen their risk time.

Yeah, if you can, grow your own.
