I've never been myself, but I too have read about coffeeshops in amersterdam not having quite the quality bud you may find here in the states.

I myself am more interested in going to try the different strains. Potency isn't really an issue.... I can get blasted off of schwag with no problem.
I will list the shops that I was impressed with, but if your tolerance is that low you won't have any problem at all, enjoy.
