You want a 250 in that size cab, not a 400. I'd go for a scrog type grow. Nothing wrong with sog if that appeals though. I think you would be best to leave the flood tray fixed and move the light. Most growers use lamps with remote ballasts, and you can get cheap adjustable hangers for the reflector. For height, the best thing is to go for a shallow-shape res, and have the tray right on top
Go for an indica for low height, but with 6ft height, you should have plenty of room for more sativa types too.
