That is a sog grow. You need at least 2 rooms and they need to be of decent size. I probably just read your post wrong though. Are you asking if your box will work for 1 or 2 plants and ALSO asking a seperate question about sog? |
SOG could most certainly work in a 2x2ft size grow. I saw a guy who could put 80 plants on a 4x4ft table so it stands to reason I could probably grow 20 plants on my tiny 2x2ft table.
Of course I probably won't grow that many at first, I will limit myself to maybe 10 plants and see if I can handle that. But the more I look at it the more I start to realize that for 10-20 plants or more squeezed into a 2x2 grow I would probably need a 400W lamp.
With SOG you can put very very young plants into the 12/12, as soon as your cuttings are fairly well rooted, you can put them in your 12/12 very close together. They will grow like a "bud on a stick" if you will, all buds being top buds and no significant growth beneath the top of the canopy.
A grow with that many plants is an amazing thing to see, a beauty really!
Now I know that doing SOG in a single box is not very efficient but I need to learn SOG and a single box is my only option right now. I don't want to learn any other technique and I can't have more then a single 2x2ft grow so that's the way it's going to have to be for now.
