Never done a foot and a half. Done a foot plenty of times, they're proper party joints.
I knew a guy in uni who rolled a half ounce into a joint. It took 4 of them to roll it, it was, IIRC, about 3 and a half foot long roughly. He told me they had to keep putting it out and smoked it over the day, lol!
