It's been 17 hours and it hasn't froze. The freezer is cranked as high as it'll go. I do see some new salt crytals that clumped up.
That's good, in that it means the water couldn't hold anymore salt, right? I can strain those pieces out no problem.
I wonder water sugar water's freezing point is, and if it would react at all with the THC.
On a side note, I've tried much stranger combonations. Probably the strangest, most involved one, was the most effective I've ever tried.
It was a 3 chamber bong. The first small chamber was filled with hot lemon juice. The next was a water/baking powder solution. The last was just water and ice. The idea was the hot acidic liquid made the smoke less harsh. The it went through the baking powder water chamber, which neutralized the acid. Then the third was just to make sure everything was filtered out. Just thought I'd share that one
