Kinda sad, not too long ago was at a party and my friends lil brother who is still in high school had some friends there. I was telling them how its good to get good grades in school and such. Thats how I go to college and all and that if you don't do well in school you ain't gonna do that well in life unless you get lucky. So they started laughing and told me that high school is a joke. I kinda flipped out, told em I got a bunch of friends who skipped high school sold drugs and did alot of em and now they're working 7-12$ hour jobs and are broke as fuck all the time and that they regret it completely. They quited down a lil and I then proceeded to tell them school ain't a fucking joke and that if your gonna go, you my as well do something instead of stare at the wall.

Anyway it just pisses me off at how stupid some kids are. They were like 11th and 10th graders and still haven't figured out why they're in school. Even more sad their parents never informed them how important an education is. There are more important things of course but it is still important. This just shocks me. Around 45 people in my lifetime have said straight up do good in school and never be afraid to learn. What do yall think of this?

(Now don't get me wrong, I know there are some kids that live very poor and went to a bad school and live in bad neighborhoods. I'm not bashing them at all, i'm bashing the people who live in nice household and go to a decent school and think education is all a fucking joke)
