I've been getting a bunch of generic Adderall IR as well as name brand Adderall XR, and I really prefer the instant over the extended, but the name brand I hear has a much better effect than any generics. Since I can't get my hands on any Adderall IR name brand, I was wondering if you take the beads out of the Adderall XR capsule and crush them and drink them with water, will that produce the same effects as an instant release adderall?

I've heard this can be done, but I'm unsure and want a clarification.
