here are some pics fo my ballast. keep in mind I got the whole 400W hps setup for $40, so the ballast is pretty cheap looking, but check it out.

and here are some pics of the guts. the wires are all mashed together in a ball so I dont think Im going to mess with it for fear of messing it up but Ill show u what it looks like.
in this last pic the brownish wire says N 3. is this the 3 wire I need to disconnect??? I know these pics probably dont help but i said Id post them so here they are. Where is the igniter?? any ideas??? thanks again for any and all information.
