I actually just made some of the iso, I pretty much let stuff sit in the isopropyl for days, weeks, maybe some of it had been there for a month. I just let it dissolve the thc for a while. Given I made the iso over a long period maybe 6 months, in which I collected all my unsmokeable materials over that time, filled the the mason jar and usually just let it sit in there until I need to filter it to make room. I would recommend though is shake it, than leave it over night to dissolve, the bud with look like dark and and nasty when it is spent.
