Anyway, I like the idea, but I don't quite understand what advantages this offers over a standard ScrOG setup.

Yea.. It is pretty lengthy.. Thats what I get for staying up till 5am

As for advantages.. It is like a standard scrog grow... But can save even more space for people who have even less limited space than a normal scrog screen would allow. It's used for generally 2-4 plants in a small setup like I have in the drawing. Barrelofgreen.com claims they were able to yeild almost and quote:

to consistantly harvest between 130-175 grams of medicinal marijuana, every few months, in a small 'stealthy set up", that is user friendly, and easy to build and maintain...
Pics taken from Barrelofgreen.com and remember... I'm not taking ANY credit for any of this.. Just sharing a neat little alternative for everyone out there

First two pics are from their "mini bog"

Mini Bog will be powered by a 100 watt fluorescent bulb, and utilized in a "shot glass grow competion" that I challenged my friend's and members at another med site. The planters used for the mini bog are 8" tall and 8" round, so the mini bog is 16" tall.
