As long as you fixed it up you'll be fine. Some stress to your plant is good. Some people do this kind of thing on purpose , like putting a nail in the base of the plant to make the stem get beefer. i know that i've purposly broken stocks on my plants so the plant heals back better and stronger and bigger. If you try any of these methods, just remember to water your plant ahead of time before you do that.
