This may sound stupid, and I get the basic idea, but what exactly do u mean by flush them??? Ive always wanted to ask this. Just water them untill it pours out the bottom??? cuz thats what I do when I water them every two days anyway. could this be the probem??? I know it sounds stupid but maybe if someone could tell me the specific way they water their seedlings and explain it to me like a 4 year old.
what Ive been doing is gently pouring purified water evenly around the surface of the soil and at first it sits on top then begins to saturate, then I pour it in little amounts evenly around untill it starts to drip out the bottom. Is this not right? am i a fool for asking?? I really dont care could someone just let me know?? thanks for all the advice I think they're gonna make it.
PS guess Im also still not really sure how there could be excess nutes since I havent nuted them. I know u said the FFOF soil but could u elaborate?? is it that if I overwater the nutrient rich FFOF it releases nutrients and messes with the seedlings????? thanks again for ur tips. oh and y is there a red envelope next to my thread any ideas??

LOL, no you are not a fool for asking!
Are you keeping the germ. area warm enough? Forgive me if you already said that.
Yes, slowly water the soil until it saturates enough for some to drain out of the bottom of the pot. Up to 10% of the original amount that you poured in should drain out of the bottom, according to J. Cervantes et al. For example, if you have a 6" pot, you should be watering at about 250 mL, so up to 25 mL should be coming draining to the bottom. I use a measuring cup when watering, that way I know exactly how much water the plant is going to get. Getting the soil wet when transplanting makes things easier to work with too.
P.s. just clip off those nasty brown leaves, they are not doing you any good lol.
