To each his own...
To me, the bong will always dominate smoking...
And Ars, the bong is definitely not idiot proof...there are ways to smoke a bong to conserve the hell out of weed...and ways to burn through it...just like any other piece.
Lately, I've been packing bowls of 0.1g or less and barely letting the ember catch from the lighter...and I try to make that ember light the entire bowl. It takes just as long to milk as a fat 0.2g or small 0.3g snap...but it's much less....and there's no loss of high from smoking less either.
