You really need to figure out the size of the slide you're going to use. On this lil bong I have here, the grommit is roughly 1 1/4 cm. They sell 12mm slides, so you just want to make the hole slightly bigger.
If the hole works and you don't mess the glass then make sure you buy a slide an extra piece, so you can remove the bowl as a carb
