Some of the best advice I can give you is to get involved in a major photography forums.
I recommend getting started by posting some of your work on the
Canon 300/350/400D Forums at
DPReview. I'll be just across the way in the
10/20/30D Forums. Stop by and read up! Some of the most helpful hints I've received have come from the pros on that forum.
P.S. Just remember, DPReview might not be a marijuana-friendly forum. It's 100% public, meaning controversy may rise over bong shots (I know, and you have so many pretty ones!). Just be careful, is all I'm saying. If you want to test the water, post your diffuser-smoke shot and see what the sentiment is towards it. You should be able to tell if you have the green to go ahead, or the red for full stop.
